Thomas Sim E3009 is principal of SINJUN PROPERTIES E(3)2077. This real estate agency firm was approved by BOVAEP on 27 Nov, 2023. Thomas has also incorporated a platform company called AgentMY Online (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (1535524-W). The real estate agency firm will ride on the various platforms already in place under AgentMY.online.
Thomas is also a graduate technologist under MBOT – GT21070532, pursuing the Professional Technologist registration in near future. Thomas holds 4 different academic qualifications – BSc(Hons) Clinical Biochemistry (UKM), ICSA now CGIM – Chartered Governance Institute of Malaysia, MICTM (AeU) and Diploma in Estate Agency (BOVAEP). Recently in 2026, Thomas is also a Probationer P20208 of RISM – Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. He is passionate in various stages of his endless learning endeavor.
Thomas is excited about exploring information technology use in Real Estate, in particular Real Estate Technology Platforms and propTech companies. He has put up an e-learning platform, namely estateagentexam.com for the professional examination by BOVAEP and rismexam.com for the RISM Examination in Property Surveying. This e-learning platform enabled many deserving candidates throughout Malaysia to pass the professional qualification. Thomas has helped six practitioners to attend the professional status as Registered Estate Agents – 2026. In his study group, there were already more than 20 graduates and probationers by 2022. Many of them are embarking on the final interview (Test of Professional Competency) to qualify as Registered Estate Agents and eventually, able to establish their own real estate agency firms.
By experimenting WordPress, Thomas has set up contract2u.com – a listing website incorporating price-benefit index for properties facilitating buyers and tenants to select properties. In a similar purpose, although much broader in scope, a social website with elements of E.S.G. was also a brainchild of Thomas – findwhere.info. This platform aspires to link up various interest areas of common needs – shelter, food, transport, sports and medical care by a referral system.
The other platforms are subsectors of real estate, for example justland.info – listings of land and land matters, and staymyroom.com – a platform targeting the medium rental market for the increasing demand of room rental.
Thomas is an Associate Trainer of Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) – the largest association of real estate agents. He conducts training of various levels – Negotiator Certification Course (since 2020), REN Renewal Program (RRP) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the Institute under the purview of Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers. Recently, Thomas has just completed a round of CPD with the registered estate agents and valuers in Kuching on “Info Technology and Real Estate Agency Practice” on 27 Jun, 2024 at Lot 10 Boutique Hotel, Jalan Padungan, Kuching.
At practice level, Thomas conducts training for his own Real Estate Negotiators within Sinjun Properties E(3)2077 where he is the founder and principal agent. He organizes >10 platforms in marketing and listing of properties around Kuching – Samarahan, and coordinate across East and West Malaysia for potential partnership with firms throughout the country.
During his free time, Thomas contributes to the society by taking part in Sarawak Hospice Society – a palliative care association, and he is also serving as Chairman of MIEA Sarawak Branch 2025/27.
Thomas has written articles and published more than 260 YouTube Videos in myrealproperty.online. He is active in mentoring junior agents and enriching his expertise in training and knowledge development.
